Privacy Policy
Sunday Labs is a small independent software studio based in Canada. We build our own apps and brands, and we care about keeping the data behind them minimal, honest, and well-protected. This policy explains what we collect and why, across this website and the apps we make.
The short version
We don’t sell your personal information, and we never will. We collect as little as possible — only what a product genuinely needs to work — and we’re transparent about all of it. We don’t run advertising networks or third-party trackers in our apps.
This website
The Sunday Labs website (sundaylabs.ca) is a static site with no advertising, no tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics. We don’t build profiles of visitors. Our hosting provider (Vercel) processes standard technical request data — such as IP address and browser type — to serve pages securely and reliably, as is normal for any website.
Our apps
Each app collects only what it needs to function, and the specifics differ by product. Where an app stores or syncs your data, that’s described in the app itself and in its App Store privacy details. As a rule across everything we make:
- We don’t sell or rent personal data.
- We don’t use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
- We ask for permissions (like location or photos) only when a feature needs them, and only for that feature.
For app-specific questions, the privacy details on each app’s App Store listing and marketing site are the most precise source.
Children’s privacy
Some of our apps — such as Goji, a learning app for kids — are made for children. In those products we don’t show ads, don’t use third-party tracking, and don’t sell or share children’s personal information. We aim to comply with applicable children’s privacy laws (including COPPA where it applies) and Apple’s Kids Category requirements. Parents or guardians can contact us at any time to ask about, or request deletion of, a child’s information.
If you contact us
When you email us, we receive your message, your email address, and anything you choose to include. We use it only to respond to you and keep a record of the conversation.
How we use information
We use the limited information we collect to operate and improve our products, keep them secure, respond to your questions, and meet legal obligations. That’s it.
Sharing
We don’t sell or rent personal information. We rely on a few trusted service providers to run our business — for example, hosting (Vercel) and email forwarding (ImprovMX) — and they only process data on our behalf to provide those services. We may disclose information if required by law.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law, and then delete it.
Your choices & rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Just email hello@sundaylabs.ca and we’ll take care of it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as Canada’s PIPEDA or the GDPR.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we’ll update this page and revise the “last updated” date above.
